ABOUT THE SHOW
The Nyumba Upendo (House of Love) is designed to dive deeply into the taboo topic of Mental Health. Nyumba Upendo will tackle all the serious issues on the spectrum on mental health from mental illness to mental wellness. The show will have local and national professionals discuss topics on anxiety, depression, trauma; but; more importantly, will discuss proactive strategies to become our best selves individually and collectively as a community. This show is designed to keep our emotional equilibrium well-balanced.
Nyumba Upendo also has a regular editorial column in the Milwaukee Courier entitled Kweku’s Korner to expound on the main ideas presented in the radio broadcast.

ABOUT Dr. Kweku
Kweku was born and raised in Milwaukee and educated in the Milwaukee Public School (MPS) system graduating from Rufus King High School. He has served as a psychologist in MPS, Childrens Hospital, Wisconsin Department of Corrections, and Tennessee State University. He has worked as a performance psychologist with Team USA, the Milwaukee Bucks, and Wisconsin Badgers. Kweku is a published author, former television host, and adjunct professor.
Amoasi enjoys spending time with his wife and children. And is an active member of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
