SOCIAL IMPACT
National Action Network is one of the leading civil rights organizations in the Nation with chapters throughout the entire United States. Founded in 1991 by Reverend Al Sharpton, NAN works within the spirit and tradition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to promote a modern civil rights agenda that includes the fight for one standard of justice, decency and equal opportunities for all people regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, criminal record, economic status, gender, gender expression, or sexuality.
The National Coalition on Black Civic Participation (The National Coalition) is a 501©3, non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to increasing civic engagement and voter participation in Black and underserved communities. The National Coalition strives to create an enlightened community by engaging people in all aspects of public life through service/volunteerism, advocacy, leadership development and voting.

AMRI Counseling Services (AMRI) is a Licensed and Certified Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Clinic providing an array of services including mental health and substance abuse assessment, counseling and treatment for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families of Milwaukee WI, Kenosha, WI and all surrounding areas since 2006.
Black Space is a new organization normalizing therapy for Black and Brown people. They’re for us by us. Our sessions are facilitated by Black and Brown therapists. You don’t have to explain who you are. We’re passionate about making support affordable.

The mission of the Mary Ellen Strong Foundation (MESF) is to promote mental health in underserved communities. Increasing access to mental health treatment can transform individuals, families, and communities. MESF strives to increase the number of licensed mental health providers who are dedicated to meeting the needs of underserved communities through our innovative programming and by providing information and resources.
Mental Health America of Wisconsin (MHA) is an affiliate of the nation’s leading community-based non-profit dedicated to helping all Americans achieve wellness by living mentally healthier lives.

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
S.M.I.L.E. (Services to Maintain Independence and Life Efficacy) INC. is a holistic, 501(c)(3) established, nonprofit, social service organization committed to encompassing the underserved African American communities and released offenders from any Department of Corrections institute aged 15-30.
TRYV365 is a non-profit based in Milwaukee that creates customized non-clinical trauma-informed programming. Our program is designed to foster positive childhood relationships, strengthen interpersonal skills, and increase the ability to be resilient during challenging times.
BMHA serves the community and organizations throughout the area by providing workshops and forums covering a range of topics and subjects. We also offer the community an opportunity to connect with culturally-competent and patient-centered licensed mental health clinicians through our expansive referral database.
