The Milwaukee Brewers are one win away from advancing to the World Series for the first time in 44 years.
The Brewers defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series on Oct. 14 by a score of 6-2.
Milwaukee started strong after Jackson Chourio hit a home run on the first pitch of the game. Chourio now holds the MLB record for most home runs (6) before turning 23 years old.
Jake Bauers and Garrett Mitchell hit back-to-back homers off Blake Snell to regain the lead in the seventh inning and the Brewers held on to push the Dodgers to the brink of elimination.
It’s a clear reversal of last year’s NLCS in which the Dodgers swept the Brewers.
Game 4 is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Oct. 15.
