Milwaukee Bucks Foundation to launch We Wanna See You Win Anti-Violence Campaign
Pep rally tour in Milwaukee neighborhoods tips off today, Thursday, Oct. 29, at Atkinson Triangle Park with Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma and general manager Jon Horst
MILWAUKEE (Oct. 29, 2026) – The Milwaukee Bucks Foundation is partnering with the Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services, the Milwaukee Parks Foundation and InPower to launch a We Wanna See You Win anti-violence campaign featuring a three-stop pop-up pep rally tour in Milwaukee.
The pep rallies will begin today, Thursday, Oct. 29, at Atkinson Triangle Park (936 W. Atkinson Ave., Milwaukee) at 3:45 p.m. Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma and general manager Jon Horst will speak on the importance of safe places to play in communities and winning on and off the court.
We Wanna See You Win is an anti-violence campaign that focuses on young people having safe places to go and trusted adults in their corner to help neighborhoods become stronger and safer. Each free, family-friendly pep rally will feature Bucks appearances, food, music, hands-on activities and local resources.
“When a neighborhood has safe places to play, learn and grow, everyone in it has a better shot at winning – on the court, in school and in life,” said Marla Habert, Executive Director of the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation. “Safer neighborhoods are built by showing up for each other, and we’re looking forward to showing up for our community this fall.”
The pep rallies will continue Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Kosciuszko Community Center (2201 S. 7th St., Milwaukee), followed by a final stop at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (1531 W. Vliet St., Milwaukee) on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
“Young people thrive when they have safe places to gather and a community that has their back,” said Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley. “That support strengthens entire neighborhoods, which is why partnerships like this one create lasting change. I’m grateful to the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation for being the kind of community partner who rolls up their sleeves alongside us, because when our young people win, we all win.”
The Milwaukee Bucks Foundation’s anti-violence efforts are supported in part by a grant received from the Wisconsin State Office of Violence Prevention. In addition to the community pep rally tour, the Foundation currently executes a work release program at Fiserv Forum that supports reentry into the workplace for individuals who are currently incarcerated.
Media interested in attending the first pep rally today, Thursday, Oct. 29, should RSVP to Amanda.Janczak@Bucks.com.
